Evaluation, Control, and Ethical Governance

This program emphasizes how organizations assess performance, maintain accountability, and align ethical conduct with strategic intent. Participants explore the importance of evaluation and control systems for monitoring progress toward strategic goals, including the development and use of critical success factors (CSFs) and key performance indicators (KPIs). The program examines how tools such as annual budgets, feedback loops, and management by exception function as control mechanisms to ensure that operations remain consistent with long-term objectives. Participants learn to apply the balanced scorecard and strategy map frameworks to translate strategic priorities into measurable outcomes across financial, customer, process, and learning dimensions. The course also addresses benchmarking as a means of continuous improvement and introduces agency theory to explain governance challenges between managers and stakeholders. Further, participants analyze how incentive systems, organizational structures, and ethical leadership contribute to sound decision-making. The program concludes with discussions on corporate social responsibility and sustainability, highlighting how responsible practices can create both societal and competitive value.
